Is PetPal the same as Shimeji?
No. Shimeji usually uses pre-made character sprites; PetPal Studio generates a private pet-based .petpet package.
Why use PetPal on Mac?
Use it when you want a desktop companion that resembles your own cat, dog, rabbit, bird, or other pet.
Does it need Java?
PetPal Desktop does not use the classic Shimeji Java workflow.
Can I preview before payment?
Yes. Generate the preview first, then pay only if the result is acceptable.
